- Fix all 12 no-explicit-any (NPool, NostrEvent[], LabProfile, structural
Cluster type, explicit SkateSpot cast) -> 0 remaining
- Remove unused imports/vars across 48 files (manual + a verified codemod for
unused import specifiers only); tsc + tests + boot smoke all green
- Warning backlog: 182 -> 76 (remaining: ~55 no-unused-vars locals,
  14 react-hooks/exhaustive-deps, 7 react-refresh)
- AGENTS.md baseline updated

8e35859188 fix(ux): Batch B — errors no longer masquerade as empty/404
Adds a shared ErrorState/PageError with a retry action. Detail pages (spot,
shop, collection, coach, crew, event) now show an honest failure + Try again
instead of '404 Not Found' — a relay hiccup previously implied the content was
deleted. The zap/bounty leaderboards surface errors instead of 'no content yet',
and the DM inbox gains a retry button.

f4192e2f3d fix(ux): Batch A part 1 — dead flows
- SpotDetailPage: 'Claim This Shop' was a no-op button; wire to NIP-05 settings
  (and stop the full-page <a href> reload)
- TourDetailPage: 'Contact Guide to Book' used /messages?to= which nothing read,
so booking silently opened an empty inbox -> /messages/:npub
- ContactsPage: row 'Message' went to the generic inbox -> the contact's thread
- SettingsPage: ?section=follows|language|stash rendered a blank dead end;
unknown sections now fall back to the menu
- DirectMessages/Conversation: logged-out states were dead ends -> add LoginArea
- Conversation: failed sends were silent -> error toast

8d8a46a73f feat(spot): full-screen photo lightbox for spot galleries
Gallery images were inert (click did nothing) and only the first five were
reachable. Adds ImageLightbox: click any photo to view full size, arrow-key /
button navigation across the whole gallery, position counter, caption and
community-photo attribution. Extra images show a +N overlay.

b8bf8c8534 fix(mobile): base grid column on remaining card grids + skeleton min-w-0 consistency 2026-09-26 15:24:09 +07:00

571257e5c3 fix(mobile): stop detail-page grids from overflowing horizontally
The spot page (and the other detail pages) used `grid lg:grid-cols-3` with
no explicit mobile column. Below the `lg` breakpoint the grid falls back to
a single implicit `auto` track, whose minimum is the min-content of its
items. A long mapper name ("Tip the Mapper" card) gave the sidebar a
~559px min-content, so the whole grid widened past the viewport and was
clipped by the global `html, body { overflow-x: hidden }` — content cut off
on the right with no way to scroll to it.

Fixes:
- Add `grid-cols-1` to detail-page grids so the mobile track is
`minmax(0, 1fr)` and can never exceed the container. Applied to Spot,
Shop, Event, NIP-19, Crew and Coach detail pages.
- Add `min-w-0` to their sidebar/main columns so long content can shrink
and truncate instead of forcing the track wider.
- Make the Spot Chat header wrap (`flex-wrap` + `gap-y`) so the trust
filter and channel badge no longer get clipped on narrow phones.

16e943d4ef refactor: consolidate become-* routes + migrate empty states to shared component
Empty states (P4 follow-up):
- CrewsPage and EventsPage now render the shared <EmptyState> instead of
their own local copies, keeping spacing/actions/footer consistent.

Become-role routes (P1):
- Add src/lib/becomeRoles.tsx: single registry mapping each role slug to
  either a CraftProfileForm config (artist/graffiti/musician/judge/tattoo/
trainer) or a lazy bespoke page (coach/filmer/editor/photographer/
builder/skater). The 6 craft roles were already thin config wrappers, so
their configs move into the registry and the wrapper files are deleted.
- Replace 12 hardcoded /become-* routes + 12 imports with one
/become/:role route (BecomeRolePage) that renders from the registry.
- Legacy /become-<slug> URLs now redirect to /become/<slug> so shared/
  bookmarked links keep working.
- Update all internal links (LabPage, Index, SkatersPage, SpotDetailPage,
NIP19Page, SkaterDirectoryCard) to the canonical /become/<slug> paths.

Note: the 5 large bespoke forms were intentionally NOT merged into one
config — they carry distinct machinery (SpotPicker, wallet/Pro, geohashing)
and forcing them together would increase complexity, not reduce it.

a7b7e07e86 Add spot "Shelter" (weather protection) field
Skaters need to know if a spot is roofed/indoor so weather info isn't
misleading — a covered or indoor spot is still skateable in the rain. Added a
4-way shelter level: outdoor (default) / partial / covered / indoor.

Data model (types.ts + skateTags.ts):
- SkateSpot.shelter parsed from a `['shelter', value]` tag (validated to known
values; absent/unknown → treated as outdoor).
- shelterOptions / DEFAULT_SHELTER / SHELTERED_VALUES + ShelterType exported.
- SHELTER_INFO display map (emoji/label/short/color) for badges.

Publishing (CreateSpotPage + EditSpotPage):
- New "Shelter" selector reusing the exact selectable-Card pattern used by
Access Type / Spot Type (cn() borders, neon ring, corner check badge).
- Emits `['shelter', value]` always, plus a queryable `['t', value]` for
sheltered spots (indoor/covered/partial) so "dry spots" filtering + Sasquatch
search work at the relay level. Outdoor adds no t tag.
- EditSpotPage initialises from the existing spot and preserves the value.

Display:
- Shelter badge on SpotDetailPage, SpotCard, and the MapPage popup — only shown
for sheltered spots (outdoor stays unbadged to avoid clutter).

Docs:
- NIP.md: shelter added to the optional-tags table, a dedicated Shelter section
explaining values + the queryable-t-tag behaviour, and an indoor example.

Build clean, no console errors.

c9b0571de9 feat(ux): graceful image fallbacks for broken content images (1.2.18)
Added <ImageWithFallback> — a drop-in <img> that shows a subtle placeholder
(skate emoji or a caller-supplied icon) instead of the browser's broken-image
glyph when a user-supplied URL is missing or 404s. Fills the same layout box so
nothing shifts.

Swapped it into the content-image surfaces that display user-uploaded URLs:
- Marketplace item cards (grid + purchase dialog)
- Spot detail (hero + gallery thumbs) and map list/popup cards
- Shop detail (hero + gallery)
- Crew & Lab cross-link cards (icon fallback)
- Crew agent panel, newsletter issue view + notification bell newsletter thumb
- Stash gear cards (list + grid), profile banner (NIP19), newsletter spot cards

Left untouched: avatars (shadcn Avatar already has fallbacks), QR codes and
rider-card/print images (data URLs, never 404), and in-form upload previews
(local object URLs).

35915557bb Add in-app routing (foot/bike/moto/car) via OSRM — no external maps handoff
- New src/lib/routing.ts: keyless OSRM client, travel modes, distance/skate-time formatters
- New RouteDialog: self-contained Leaflet map drawing the route from the user's
location to a spot/shop/event, with a mode toggle and distance/time summary
- Wire the "Directions" buttons on Spot/Shop/Event detail pages to route in-app
  instead of opening Google/Apple Maps

13eece3a1e Admins can delete/take down any listing (spot, crew, tour, event, shop)
The two SkateSpots admin pubkeys (already in src/lib/admins.ts) can now remove
any listing, not just their own. Because a NIP-09 deletion signed by a
non-author isn't honored by most relays, admin takedowns are made reliable with
a client-side moderation layer:

- useDeleteEntity: owners still publish a plain NIP-09 kind:5. Admins acting on
  someone else's content publish the kind:5 AND a NIP-32 kind:1985 `hidden`
label referencing the target coordinate/id, authored by the admin.
- useAdminModeration (new): fetches admin-authored `hidden` labels app-wide and
exposes a fast lookup + filterAdminHidden() helper. Only labels whose author
is in the hardcoded ADMIN_PUBKEYS are honored (author = trust boundary,
  re-verified client-side; never derived from a d-tag).
- Wired the hide filter into the list + detail hooks for spots, crews (incl.
by-focus), tours, events, and shops via React Query `select`, so removed
content disappears from lists and 404s on its detail page.

UI:
- DeleteEntityDialog now renders for owner OR admin, with distinct
"Remove (admin)" framing and copy (used on Crew, Coach, Tour, Event pages).
- SpotDetailPage & ShopDetailPage: routed their inline delete through
useDeleteEntity, show the delete button for admins, and relabel the confirm
  dialog for admin takedowns.
- Added the delete control to Tour and Event detail pages (previously none).

SECURITY.md: documented the admin moderation trust boundary and extended the
auditor file map. Verified build + no console errors.

8b080fb7f1 Spot detail: make mapper clickable + add Message Mapper button
The "Tip the Mapper" card now links the avatar/name to the mapper's profile
(/{npub} via the NIP-19 router) and adds a "Message Mapper" button that opens
an encrypted DM (/messages/{npub}). Makes it easy to contact whoever added a
spot — e.g. to ask them to add photos to a photoless submission. The message
button is hidden when you're viewing your own spot.

6848a72869 Crews: proximity discovery, activity/rep signals, treasury, hiring pipeline, crew-hosted events + reverse links; add Contacts page
Crews page
- "Near me" geolocation toggle with haversine distance sort + distance chips
- Crew count + cities social-proof stat header
- Deterministic per-crew vibe-colour accents (no more wall of teal)
- Activity pulse ("🔥 active this week") + OG/Verified/Established rep badges
- Rich empty state ("Claim your local scene") instead of dead "No crews yet"

Crew synergies
- Crew treasury: transparent, non-custodial NIP-75 zap goal (kind 9041) with
live progress bar tallied from zap receipts; funds settle to founder's own
Lightning wallet — no shared wallet or new wallet settings needed
- Crew-hosted events: host a jam/comp as the crew (event a-tag → crew coord),
"Hosted by [crew]" on event pages, Crew Events list on the crew page
- Crew ↔ Lab hiring pipeline: "Open Call / looking-for" flags (filmer, editor,
coach, builder, members) surfaced on the crew page
- Request to join: encrypted NIP-17 DM to founder + admins (no founder-push
  bottleneck, no public join event)
- Reverse links: "Crews that skate here" on spot pages

Contacts (0xchat-style + Armada-style privacy)
- New /contacts page with Crew-mates / Follows / Recent DMs / Saved tabs
- Per-contact quick actions: message, zap, view profile, star
- Private encrypted contacts list (NIP-51 kind 30000, NIP-44 encrypted to self)
- Added to burger menu + desktop More menu (gated to logged-in users)

Docs: NIP.md updated with crew treasury, crew-hosted events, looking-for tags,
and the private encrypted contacts list.

a9e0c1dcb7 Add community Spot Status Reports (kind 2259)
Solves the "spots that change appearance or disappear" problem with
crowd-sourced, trust-weighted status reports — since the spot owner
often isn't the one who notices a spot got knobbed/demolished/busted.

New custom kind 2259 (regular, append-only): any user can report a
spot's current physical state — active / bust / skate-stopped / closed /
gone — with an optional note, referencing the spot via its `a`
coordinate.

Client aggregation (useSpotStatus / useBatchSpotStatus):
- recency-weighted (30-day half-life) so fresh reports dominate and a
  rebuilt spot naturally recovers
- trust-weighted via existing useBatchTrustScores (0.2–1.0 multiplier)
- most-recent-report-per-reporter (no ballot stuffing)
- reports older than 180 days ignored

UI:
- SpotStatusBadge (colored consensus badge + tooltip w/ report count)
- ReportSpotStatusDialog (status picker, optional note, recent reports)
- Badge + Report Status button on SpotDetailPage
- Batched status badge on SpotCard; "gone" spots dimmed/grayscaled
- "gone" spots hidden from map markers (still listed dimmed) to keep the
map uncluttered while preserving the record

Documented the kind, tags, status values, and aggregation rules in
NIP.md.

ba3921b15c Add Spot Chat: ephemeral geohash-anchored local chat channels
Inspired by BitChat's location-channel concept, reframed for skaters and
kept fully SkateSpots-native (own kind + tag conventions, no interop).

- New ephemeral kind 24899 tagged with a geohash `g` (documented in NIP.md)
- useSpotChat / useSendSpotChat hooks (polled, community-relay aware)
- SpotChat component: live message list, composer, author profiles,
Block/Neighborhood/City precision toggle, and light IRC-style flavor
(/me action messages, /who participant count)
- Spot detail pages now show a per-spot block-level channel
- Map gains a "Local Chat" sheet anchored to the map center with the
  precision selector

a1cd936bc4 UX audit round 2: Near Me fix, map height, touch targets, iOS dirs, a11y, mobile layout
CRITICAL:
- Near Me button: completely rewritten — was silently discarding ALL errors. Now shows
toast for denied, timeout, unavailable with actionable copy. Button shows red LocateOff
icon when denied so user sees the state at a glance. Raised to 44×44px (Apple minimum).
- Map height on mobile: switched to CSS variable system (--header-mobile, --bottom-nav)
for pixel-accurate height. Added Layout noPadding prop so the map page gets full bleed
without the 80px bottom-padding fighting the map container calc.
- Layer toggle pills: raised from 28×28 to 40×40px — was below touch target minimum
- Right-side control column: now hides when spot bottom sheet is open (was always visible)

iOS/Directions:
- SpotDetailPage directions button: now detects Apple platform and opens Apple Maps on
iOS/macOS, Google Maps everywhere else (was always Google Maps)
- Added aria-label to directions button

Accessibility:
- LoginDialog: was missing DialogTitle, causing console errors on every login open
- CameraCapture: fallback dialog was missing DialogTitle (sr-only)
- CommandDialog: added sr-only DialogTitle

Layout:
- SpotDetailPage: reduced top padding mobile pt-4 (was py-8 = 32px wasted space)
- Directions popover: centered in viewport (top-1/2 left-1/2) with zoom-in animation,
never clips behind Sheet stacking context

CSS:
- Added --header-mobile and --bottom-nav CSS variables for consistent calculations
- Added .page-fullbleed helper

e29d35f1e4 fix: restore full skate-spots source tree from misplaced src/src/ copy
The entire skate-spots codebase was accidentally copied into src/src/ and
public/public/ instead of src/ and public/ directly. This left the real
src/ directory as blank MKStack template stubs, explaining why the landing
page showed the default template instead of SkateSpots.

Changes made:
- Copied all files from src/src/ up to src/ (App.tsx, AppRouter.tsx, main.tsx,
all pages, components, hooks, contexts, lib, i18n, test)
- Copied all files from public/public/ up to public/ (images, manifest, etc.)
- Deleted src/src/ and public/public/ nested directories
- Removed HelloWorld.tsx template stub from pages/
- Retained the previously fixed index.css (Tailwind v3 directives)

Full skate-spots feature set is now active:
- All 30+ routes (map, events, spots, coaches, marketplace, wallet, etc.)
- NWCProvider, LanguageProvider, PWAInstallPrompt, AmberCallbackHandler
- Skate community relays (goskatespots.nostr1.com, wotr.relatr.xyz, etc.)
- Outfit Variable font, Amber pre-check in main.tsx
- All hooks (useSkateSpots, useCoaches, useZaps, etc.)
- i18n support (en/es)
