✅ FOLLOW MANAGEMENT - IMPLEMENTATION COMPLETE

📋 WHAT WAS ADDED

Location: Settings > Profile Tab

A new "Your Nostr Network" section has been added to the Profile tab, positioned between the profile edit form and NIP-05 providers section.

1. Following Tab

Displays:

• List of all users you follow
• User avatars, names, and NIP-05 badges
• Unfollow button for each user
• Follower count badge in tab

Actions:

• ✅ Add user to follow - Paste npub, NIP-05, or hex pubkey
• ✅ Unfollow user - Remove from your network
• ✅ Automatic publishing - Updates your kind 3 follow list on Nostr
• ✅ Trust badge refresh - Spots immediately show VERIFIED after following

UI Features:

• Search input accepts: npub1..., user@domain.com, or hex pubkey
• Real-time count: "Following (X)"
• Loading states with skeletons
• Empty state when following nobody
• Info card explaining trust badge impact

📱 HOW TO USE IT

To Follow the Existing Spot Creator:

1. Go to: /settings (or click Settings in top-right)
2. Click: "Profile" tab (should be default)
3. Scroll down to "Your Nostr Network" card
4. Click: "Following" tab
5. Paste: npub1e2ay07awfkg9p0e0gtdzyysk7rfwhthuexr2apt9ehywukrxsu9sgau9yy
6. Click: "Follow" button
7. Wait for confirmation toast
8. Go to: /map → Switch to List View
9. See: All 6 existing spots now show ✅ VERIFIED badges!

🔗 HOW IT CONNECTS TO TRUST BADGES

The Flow:

1. User goes to Settings > Profile
   ↓
2. User follows skateboarding creator
   ↓
3. New kind 3 event published to Nostr
   ↓
4. useTrustScore hook picks up the change (cache invalidated)
   ↓
5. Spot cards re-calculate trust scores
   ↓
6. ✅ VERIFIED badges appear on followed creators' spots
   ↓
7. 🟡 TRUSTED badges appear on their friends' spots

Test Scenario 1: Follow Existing Spot Creator

Spot Creator Pubkey (hex):

1. Login to SkateSpots
2. Go to Settings > Profile
3. Scroll to "Your Nostr Network"
4. Paste npub above
5. Click Follow
6. See success toast
7. Go to /map (List View)
8. Expected: All 6 spots show ✅ VERIFIED

Test Scenario 2: Follow Random Nostr User

Steps:

1. Go to primal.net or any Nostr client
2. Find any user's npub
3. Copy their npub
4. Go to SkateSpots Settings > Profile
5. Paste npub and click Follow
6. See them in your Following list
7. Expected: If they created any spots, those spots show ✅ VERIFIED

Test Scenario 3: Unfollow User

Steps:

1. Go to Settings > Profile > Following tab
2. Click "Unfollow" on any user
3. See confirmation toast
4. User removed from list
5. Refresh a page with their spots
6. Expected: Their spots no longer show VERIFIED badge

Q: What do VERIFIED and TRUSTED badges mean?

A: These badges show how connected a spot creator is to your Nostr network:

• ✅ VERIFIED (Green): You follow this user directly
• 🟡 TRUSTED (Yellow): Someone you follow, follows this user
• No badge: No social connection (yet!)

Q: How do I get more verified spots?

A: Go to Settings > Profile and follow skateboarding creators on Nostr! The more skaters you follow, the more verified spots you'll see.

Q: Why should I follow people?

A: Following builds your Web of Trust network, which helps you:

• See verified spots from trusted creators
• Discover quality content
• Connect with the skateboarding community
• Support creators you trust with better visibility
